The complete list
This is all of them. There is no fourth cookie, no tracking pixel, and no third-party script loading further cookies behind these.
- `bc_consent` — records whether you accepted or refused measurement. Set only once you answer the banner, and kept for 180 days so you are not asked again on every visit. Without it we cannot remember your refusal, which is why it is set even when you refuse.
- `bc_attr` — records how you first reached the site, such as the campaign an advertisement belonged to. It contains no personal information, is readable only by our server, and lasts 30 days. Set only if you accepted measurement.
- `NEXT_LOCALE` — remembers the language you chose, so you are not sent back to English on your next visit.
What happens when you refuse
Refusing is not a formality here. If you choose "essential only":
No measurement takes place. Events are discarded rather than queued, and nothing is sent anywhere.
The attribution cookie is not set — and if you accepted earlier and changed your mind, the one you already have is deleted on your next page view.
Everything on the site continues to work. Refusing does not degrade the experience, hide content, or repeat the question on every page.
What this site does not do
It does not load advertising or social media tracking scripts. There is no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, and no third-party analytics tag embedded in these pages.
It does not use cookies to build a profile of you across other websites, and it does not share cookie data with advertising networks.
No cookie on this site ever contains your name, your contact details, your enquiry, or anything about your health.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which makes the banner appear again on your next visit.
Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies for individual sites through its settings. Blocking `NEXT_LOCALE` means the site will ask again which language you want; nothing else here breaks.
